What does repair estimate include?
The repair price estimate includes both replacement parts and labor.
What should i do if i drop my phone in water?
After you’ve removed your device from the liquid, dry the outside of the phone being careful to not press any buttons. If possible, remove the battery to decrease the likelihood of a short. Bring your water damaged phone to Fixtan and we will gladly take over from there!
Am I expected to pay for the repair before or is payment due upon receipt?
Since every kind of repair we perform is different, payment is due upon receipt.

The typical cell phone battery begins to deteriorate after 400 charging cycles. The average user will reach this point after 1-2 years of regular usage.
If I currently have a warranty protection on my device, will any repairs you do make my warranty void?
When your item becomes damaged, your warranty protection becomes void.
If I really need my item repaired as quickly as possible, how can I be sure your mail-in services are fast enough?
Typically most mail-in repairs are completed within 48 hours. If you need your item sent back in a faster manner than regular mail services, let our staff know and we will be able to send your item back to you by priority shipping with an extra cost.

Typically we have a water damage repair success rate of 75% percent, though nothing is guaranteed to work and there is no warranty included.

Do you look through my photos?
Fixtan takes your security very seriously. Our technicians go through rigorous background screening and training. We do not go through any of your personal data (e.g. contacts, messages, photos, etc.). if you aren’t comfortable, you are not required to provide us with your password.
What happens if Fixtan can’t fix it?
On the odd occasion that we can not repair your phone, we will get in touch to let you know and return the phone. You will be charged the courier service charge only.
